What makes us special

The location. The designer rooms. The comfort.

As our guest - whether privately, professionally or in a group - you can look forward to a comfortable garni hotel (3 stars) and a richly equipped breakfast buffet for the perfect start to the day. Our designer rooms are based on the Bauhaus style, modern, minimalist, with clear lines, yet light, friendly and comfortably furnished.

We are the conference center for the Academy of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. The event rooms are barrier-free.

You will find us in Stuttgart-Hohenheim, right next to the Exotic Garden of the University of Hohenheim. The subway station is a three-minute walk away; the journey to the city center and Stuttgart Central Station takes just under 30 minutes. You can reach Stuttgart Airport and Messe Stuttgart in seven minutes by car (around five kilometers) and in 11 to 20 minutes by public transport. You can park for free during your stay; there are two public charging stations for electric cars in the immediate vicinity.

By Public Transport

The conference center is located near the University of Hohenheim. From Stuttgart main station and the airport, you can reach us using the Stuttgart Transport and Tariff Association VVS. From the U3 stop Plieningen, it’s a 300-meter walk to Paracelsusstraße (continue in the direction of travel, cross the main road at the roundabout, then turn right immediately).

With the Deutsche Bahn City-Ticket, you don’t need a separate ticket for local transport in Stuttgart.

Unfortunately, discounted train tickets for events organized by Catholic institutions were discontinued as of June 30, 2025.

Stuttgart Airport

From Stuttgart Airport to the conference center, the journey takes about 15 minutes.

By Car

Drivers arriving via the A8 motorway from Ulm (exit 53b “Stuttgart Plieningen”) or Karlsruhe (exit 53a “Airport/Trade Fair”): Follow the main road through Plieningen to the turnoff for “Universität Hohenheim.” At the roundabout by the “Wirtshaus Garbe” inn, turn sharply right into Paracelsusstraße.

Parking

A limited number of free parking spaces are available in front of our building. You will need a parking permit, which you can collect at reception during check-in. Additional parking is available along Paracelsusstraße and at the paid Garbenstraße parking lot.

Electric Vehicles

Two public charging stations for electric vehicles are located nearby: at Paracelsusstraße 37 and 81.
